Big Star / Star Transport was founded in 1999 with only one truck and two customers. The founder, Link Clifton, decided to start his own transportation service to fuel his own service stations as a result of his own bad service experiences. Link being the cowboy he is, lives and operates in the mindset of Cowboy Code of Ethics. With Link’s mindset and new team there was a vision to soon become one of the leading haulers of fuel in the Midcon region. Since our founding we have grown to be a full-service fuel hauler serving stations all over Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Colorado, Nebraska, Missouri, Arkansas, and Iowa. In 2009, because of our reputable customer service, Big Star was asked and agreed to get into the oilfield hauling crude oil and water. Our oil division services production in the Barnett Shale, Eagle Ford, Utah Basin, as well as the Stack and Scoop oil plays. We are now a fleet of over 200 trucks proud to be transporting fuel, water and crude oil.
